What it does
Booked by the hour
Hirers pick a date and a start and finish time, and are only offered the times the hall is open and free.
Setting up and clearing away
Say how long the room is needed either side of a hire, and a gap between hirers. Coble keeps it free.
Evening rates
A different price from a time you choose, shown to hirers before they book.
The week at a glance
Every hire by the hour, the closed times, and the hall’s own events. Tap a free time to book it or close it.
Paid online
Card payments go straight into the hall’s own Stripe account. Regular hirers can pay however they always have.
The whole committee
Everybody signs in as themselves. Staff take bookings; managers change prices and cancel; the owner looks after the rest.

Questions owners ask
Can people book the hall by the hour?
Yes. Hirers choose a date and a start and finish time, and the booking page only offers times the hall is open and free. You set the opening hours for each day of the week.
Can I leave time to set up and clear away?
Yes. Set how long the room is needed before and after each hire, and a gap between hirers. Coble keeps that time free around every booking, so nobody arrives while the last party is still stacking the chairs.
Can I charge more in the evening?
Yes. Set an evening rate from the time you choose, and hirers see the right price for the hours they pick.
How do hirers pay?
By card when they book, straight into the hall's own Stripe account. For a regular hirer you can take the booking yourself and record cash or a bank transfer against it.
Can the whole committee use it?
Yes. Invite each person with their own sign-in. Staff can see the calendar and take bookings; managers can also change prices and cancel; the owner looks after billing and the team.
Can I close the hall for maintenance or our own events?
Yes. Tap a time on the hall's week and close it, with a note for yourselves to say why. Hirers see that time as unavailable.
What does it cost?
£15 a month covers one room. Harbour, at £25, covers up to three — the hall and its kitchen, say. There is no commission on any hire.
Is there a contract?
No minimum term. Try it free for 30 days with no card. After that it is monthly or yearly, and you can cancel from Billing at any time.
